Improve your mind, let your body decay, let years of lessons fucking melt away. Say you’ve progressed, we’re wondering when. Forgetting mistakes, bound to repeat them. Don’t believe the misconceptions they spread. Look me in the eyes and remember what he said. Told you a thousand times this generation don’t get it. This world will eat you alive if you let it. No matter what rely on yourself, regret the day that you put it on someone else. When the road forks I will leave you behind, because you trap simple ideas in that complex mind. Spew your opinion when it’s a matter of facts. Run your whole life but opposites attract. Born with bad blood, and sickness too, a drunk for a dad and a mom who didn’t want you. Society’s fault, system failed.
2.
All the youth of today ain’t as gullible as you, follow boring trends, getting stupid tattoos. Only sheep like you need a shepherd to lead, some can use their heads, don’t always believe. Waging wars with ancient enemies, pulling triggers for reasons you don’t need. Pulling people down, they should help you up, can’t take their help it won’t be enough. Living in a world where everyone owes you, when are you going to contribute to something new? So tired of hearing that you can’t make a difference. So out of focus is your frame of reference. Blame me for your shortcomings, not my fault you think you were born into nothing. Can’t take what you have and be grateful, got to keep your image of being hate filled. A crossover between laws and guidelines, can’t make a difference sitting on the sidelines. Primal instincts tell us it’s time to take a stand, can’t always take a backseat to other’s plans. Have an answer to every single problem, know what’s going wrong but you can’t stop them. Got to open your eyes, make it to the front lines. No more “I’ll change the world on my own time”.
3.
The field of play can never be the same. Can’t catch our breath, still hear you name. Forced to grow up and give up innocence. Made a choice, no longer on the fence. Youth is lost, at what cost. Can’t take it back, we all wish you could. Guess you couldn’t see you were doing good. I can’t judge or say I’ve felt that way, we all just got to take it day by day. Youth is lost to a harsh reality. So confused, don’t know what we need. Don’t let this tragedy soil this world. Don’t get pulled down while your life unfurls, go.

Bad Taste 02:01
All for one but not one for all, watching all your convictions fall. So quick to tell what you’re all about, quicker to change when things go south. A social chameleon in every way, pleasing others is how you spend your day. Fake your way through until you can get out, your bullshit leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Excuses around every turn, pledge allegiance to social norms. The ugly truth staring you in the face, society will put you in your place. Not losing sleep, you won’t get to me. Spend your day faking what they want you to be. I couldn’t care less how you waste your potential, to me it’s so inconsequential. In fact the world needs more yous, take a backseat, follow other’s cues.
5.
A planet of sick, a planet of needy. Stuck in the middle, feel the wrath of the greedy. The top of the top, the best of the best. Take it all, let us fight for what is left. Hide behind a veil of false truths, can’t understand a system so far from its roots. I thought it would get better with age, but I’m still just a rat in a senseless race. Blame the young, say we created this mess. But this world was fucked before we had a chance. Talk about a lazy generation, we were given a world that wasn’t worth saving. A world full of leaders who preach against sin, turn around and piss into the wind. So before you blame the apathy of a few, why don’t you get this world back to something new? Won’t take blame for a fire I didn’t start, took this world, and tore it apart. Too far gone to ever be saved, would sell us all out to make sure you’re paid. The first to complain, point to our boarders, the problem ain’t them, it’s your disillusion of order. The conundrum you face when you’re at the top is that you’re the one that’s got the farthest to drop.
